DOORS & GATES
Sand Door, Windows & Re-Varnish
The doors and windows in this lovely inner-west house required sanding and re- varnishing due to both the elements (high UV and rain) and also pets scratching door surfaces severely.

Door Restore
This door had severely rotted over time due to its exposure to the weather.
All rot required removal in order for me to replace the wood and patch up.
It was sealed off with several coats of quality primer, ready to paint.

Reset front Door Lock and Catch
The door lock had misaligned with the catch.

The catch was removed, readjusted, puttied and painted.

Large Door Restoration
A very lovely home in Marrickville required 13 very large, heavy doors to be restored.
This involves a high level of detail due to the fact that many of these doors (whilst extremely solid and heavy) sustained lots of damage over the years as the house was once a boarding house.

Below you will see the process used to restore the damage.

Repaint Garage Door & install Security Camera
This rear lane garage had been graffitied over several years. It was primed and painted. I also installed a security camera, to prevent tagging happening again. Looks like new!

Re-hang Front Gate
This gate originally had cheap hinges and stopped swinging open. The hinges were changed for quality stainless steel hinges. Worked well.

Custom-made Cellar Gate for under a house
A client had an issue with people breaking into his cellar under his house.

The gate was custom made and was fitted with a large pad-bolt to keep out intruders.
Replacing a Damaged Internal Door
Removal of door handle in original door
A client called urgently requesting an internal door be replaced in her rental property (damaged by tenants over the years). I
suggested this could be done in a timely matter.
Her preference was to choose the door style. I mentioned to her we could retro- fit the original door handle and use the existing hinges.
The door required pick up from the supplier and a light sand was given to all surfaces, then painted with 1 primer and 2 coats of paint.

Fitting Black Stainless- Steel fly mesh attached to front Security Gate
This gate & grill (above door) required stainless steel meshing custom-fitted to keep mosquitoes & flies out of the home.
Most security gates can be fitted with this, advantage being it does not rip & can provide a bit more privacy.
