About Me
I discovered my passion for art at a very early age. Creative expression became a way for me to make sense of the world—to capture what I saw and felt through various mediums such as photography, mixed media, film, and painting.
After finishing school, I was accepted into the National Art School, where I completed a Diploma in Fine Arts at the age of 20. Those formative years deepened my fascination with the conversation between observation and expression—the way art can translate both the seen and the felt.
My work has always been inspired by the environments around me—sometimes the layered textures of the city, other times the openness of the countryside or the colours and cultures experienced through travel.
Each setting brings its own rhythm and light, and I strive to echo that through my creative process.
Photography has been my primary language for many years. I’ve long been drawn to exploring the intersection between the photographic image and fine art—experimenting with fibre-based papers, hand-colouring prints, or scratching into negatives to uncover new visual textures.
These tactile processes allowed me to interact with my materials in a deeply personal and intuitive way.
More recently, I’ve returned to painting, embracing the immediacy and freedom of working with watercolour, acrylics, and oil sticks on canvas, paper, bark or any surface that captures my imagination. Each piece is an experiment—an unfolding dialogue between colour, texture, and emotion.
